There are so many discounts both educators and administrators can take advantage of for back to school and year round. You can validate your active status online with many retailers using their website or your ID.me account. Any details we have on the discounts and what is needed are provided below, however we recommend checking the requirements for each retailer online before heading into the store. Some retailers may require proof using an valid school identification card, pay stub, or ask you to complete an online application.
- Dick Blick Art Supplies: The Preferred Customer Program allows teachers to save 10% off on art supplies, including paper.
- Michael’s: Educators need to present a valid teacher ID at the time of purchase in-store, or sign up for a Michaels Rewards account and verify educator status online. Once verified, teachers will receive a 15% discount on their entire purchase, including sale items.
- JoAnn Fabrics: The teacher discount at JoAnn fabrics allows you to save 15% on every purchase year round.
- Lakeshore Learning: Lakeshore Learning allows teachers to accumulate points with their discount program that you can use on future purchases.
- Party City: This one is for the School Administrators! The more you spend, the more you save incentive at Party City is helpful if you’re buying in bulk. Your purchase must be paid for with your school check or credit card.
- Pencils.com: Offers teachers, administrators, and other school officials a 10% discount on all orders.
- Hobby Lobby: Become a member of the Hobby Lobby teacher discount program to save 10% on purchases.
